Is my data secure?
Yes! ConTrac is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your data is stored locally on your device with AES-256-GCM encryption. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync. We don't collect, track, or share any of your information.
Do I need an account to use ConTrac?
ConTrac requires authentication to protect your subscription data. You can authenticate using:
  • Sign in with Apple: Quick and secure authentication using your Apple ID
  • Face ID or Touch ID: Biometric authentication for quick access (if available on your device)
  • Demo Account: For testing purposes (development builds only)
Once authenticated, all your data is stored locally on your device. No cloud account or external service is required for core functionality. Optional iCloud sync is available if you want to sync across devices.
Can I sync my data across devices?
Yes, you can optionally enable iCloud sync in the app settings. When enabled, your data will be synced across all your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account. This is completely optional and can be disabled at any time.
Does ConTrac work offline?
Yes! ConTrac works completely offline. All core features work without an internet connection. The only feature that requires internet is optional iCloud sync (if enabled).
Can I export my subscription data?
Yes! You can export your subscription data at any time from within the app. This allows you to create backups or analyze your data in other applications.
Does ConTrac support multiple currencies?
Yes! ConTrac supports 60+ currencies. You can track subscriptions in different currencies and see spending breakdowns by currency.
Can I set up budgets and spending limits?
Yes! ConTrac includes comprehensive budget management. You can set spending limits by category or overall, track progress, and receive alerts when approaching your limits.
How do I get renewal reminders?
ConTrac can send you customizable renewal reminders before your subscriptions renew. You can configure reminder timing, quiet hours, and notification types in the app settings. You can also integrate with your calendar for automatic event creation.
Is Face ID or Touch ID supported?
Yes! ConTrac supports both Face ID and Touch ID for secure authentication. This is an optional feature that adds an extra layer of security to protect your subscription data.
Is ConTrac free?
ConTrac is free to download with no subscription required. All features are available without any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Download and Install: Download ConTrac for iOS from the App Store and install it on your iPhone or iPad (iOS 26 required). macOS version coming soon.
  2. Add Your First Subscription: Tap the "+" button to add a subscription manually, or use the import feature to add from documents.
  3. Set Up Categories: Organize your subscriptions by category (Streaming, Productivity, Fitness, etc.).
  4. Configure Notifications: Set up renewal reminders so you never miss a subscription renewal.
